I could not imagine living away from the Ocean and the amazing vibrant "landscape" that I now call home.
Being in contact with Mother Earth, the Trees, the Waves, the Birds nourishes my Soul and inspires my work.
Making Jewellery compliments my work as a shamanic practitioner and healer.
I am drawn to and love natural gemstones and my emphasis is to showcase their natural beauty in a simple way for them to shine.
I choose my gemstones with attention to quality and provenance and love looking at them.
I let them guide me, and for each piece I create I choose those that talk to me most.
There is not one day where I don’t go for a long walk in Nature, usually the beach but I also love walking under the canopy of tall trees. This is where I get inspired and this inspiration shows in the colours I choose. My work displays many shades of blue, from the pale hue of a late afternoon sky to the brilliant or dark tones of the Sea. I also love the rich ochre of the rocks at Broken Head, carnelian gemstones are a tribute to them and celebrate the breathtaking sunrises on Tallow Beach.
I could go on and on, Beauty and Spirit are everywhere, in the shimmer of the leaves and the call of the birds.
